Storytime! TRUE story even!

My day job is looking after elderly disabled people. One old grampa is pretty religious, and regularly takes part in a Zoom call Bible study group once a week (they read passages and talk about what each of them thinks they mean). A much younger mutual friend of ours (27yo guy, also in a wheelchair) is also part of the same group.

At my own expense, I bought this Bible Study (in Pornhub logo font) T-shirt for Grandpa and dressed him in it for his Bible Study day. Grandpa does not seem to recognize the logo.

I got the news from our young mutual friend. Several people in the small group started snickering, a few others had no reaction aside from being confused why others were snickering... and our young friend had to mute his mic almost immediately on Grandpa's arrival because he was dying laughing, nearly threw himself out of his wheelchair with his convulsions (fortunately it's a well-designed chair meant to keep him from falling out even if a wheel slips off the edge of a curb).

No one, and I mean NO ONE had the nerve to share the joke. I told Grandpa about it AFTER our young friend shared the payoff for this 6-week preparation time prank. He got a good laugh out of it too (yes he's heard of Pornhub, but didn't recognize the fonts.)

It's actually a brilliantly subtle prank if you think about it: Anyone who gets the joke has to admit they know the site so well that they instantly recognize the fonts... and no one wants to admit that, particularly not in the middle of a bible study group. Insidious evil! I love it!

Got to get Grandpa to wear that shirt more often! :D
